Who we are

Gai and Graham have been involved with the parenting role both personally, with 3 adult children and now 4 grandchildren, and professionally with 40 plus year’s experience as educators, working directly with children and their parents.

Gai Irvine

  • Born in Newcastle NSW

  • Mother of 3 adult children and grandmother of 4

  • An active attender of Riverview Church since 1987

  • Began teaching in 1982 and has taught across a range of school years from Kindy to Year 7

  • Currently Associate Dean of Primary at Kingsway Christian College

  • Graduate Certificate of Education (Early Childhood Studies)

  • Master of Education specializing in Early Childhood Pedagogy and Practice

  • Developed and presented Principled Parenting program for a number of organisations

  • Facilitator and trainer in a range of programs dealing with relationships and parenting including Anxiety Coach and Engaging Adolescents

Graham Irvine

  • Born Sydney NSW

  • Father of 3 adult children and grandfather of 4

  • An active attender of Riverview Church since 1987

  • Began teaching in 1982 and taught across a range of school years from Year 4 to Year 12

  • Retired in 2026 after 6 years as Dean of Christian Formation at Kingsway Christian College

  • Master of Education specializing in Leadership

  • Master of Divinity

  • Developed and presented Principled Parenting program for a number of organisations

  • Facilitator and trainer in a range of programs dealing with relationships and parenting including Anxiety Coach and Engaging Adolescents

  • Accredited Consultant for DISC Profiles Australia
